I don't know how this will end, but with each passing day, NATO's resolve is strengthening as both eastern and western European countries awaken to a dangerous new reality. We can expect more countries to align with NATO (as we've seen just today from the support provided by Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan). China remains a question mark...for now, their interests align with Russia, but this won't remain the case if a prolonged war ensues and an attendant economic backlash occurs.
